Now we can put this all to rest and move on.

Kobe Bryant has been fined $100,000 for calling a referee a "F**king f**got."

Since then, the Laker’s Executive team has launched a full scale investigation; the Human Rights Campaign has lashed out at everyone, and GLADD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) has denounced the situation as horrible and disrespectful.

Kobe has since apologized for the remark saying,

“What I said last night should not be taken literally. The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

Good. Now let’s all put this behind us and move on.

And don’t feel sorry for Kobe having to pay all that money – Forbes says he made $48 million last year in salary and commercial endorsements.
