Another fashion designer from New York Fashion Week, Tommy Hilfiger rolled out his Spring 2009 Collection with some big guns, including stylist George Cortina and DJ Jeremy Healy.

The mood was patrician: navy blazer, preppy pastel slacks, silk tie, or a suit and trenchcoat in the same shade of gray. A pale blue jacket paired with narrow navy pants felt like the sort of thing Alain Delon might have worn.

Though the show notes mentioned "the explosive freedom of early eighties dressing," it actually felt a little sixties, Hollywood-style, like these were the sort of clothes an account exec.

White and black are still the my ultimate choice, navy pants with white designer shoe look gorgeous.
